The Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel-America this month has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Update on Corporate Governance: The Audit Committee Conundrum.

The program will take place on Thursday, December 2 from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the Key Tower Conference Center, Cleveland.

Topics of discussion at the seminar will include:

• The Balancing Scales of Accounting-Problem Disclosure;
• Relationship Issues Between External Audit Firms and Audit Committees;
• The Importance of Tax Advice to the Audit Committee;
• Audit Committee Use of Independent Counsel.

The seminar speakers will be Mary Ann Jorgenson, Carolyn J. Buller, Terrence G. Perris, David A. Zagore and Gordon S. Kaiser, all of Squire Sanders & Dempsey.
